Borja Martínez joined Uría Menéndez in 2002 and was promoted to senior associate in the EU and Competition Law Practice Area in 2011.
Borja has extensive experience in merger control filings. He has participated in several dawn raids by competition authorities and advised companies before the European Commission and national competition authorities in infringement procedures involving cartels, abuses of dominant positions and other restrictive practices. He has also advised on State aid issues.
He regularly advises companies in a number of industries, such as the building materials, telecommunications and pharmaceutical products sectors.
