Javier Grávalos joined the Tax Practice Area of Uría Menendez’s Barcelona office in September 2007. Prior to joining the firm he was chief tax inspector of the Collection Department of the Tax Authority in Barcelona.
While working for the Tax Authority, Javier gained extensive experience in tax proceedings and he regularly represented the Authority in bankruptcy and receivership proceedings. Javier also advises on tax issues arising from M&A, corporate restructuring and real estate investment transactions, as well as personal tax planning matters.
