Recruitment Process

Our recruitment process for trainee lawyers runs between the months of September and June. The process starts with the consideration of applications, curricula and academic results.

Candidates who have been shortlisted are then asked to sit the following written tests:

  • A multiple choice test covering various areas of law (civil law, commercial law, administrative law and litigation)
  • An English test (a multiple choice test and an essay on a current affairs topic)
  • An essay in Spanish on a current affairs topic
  • An optional case study on a specific area of law (administrative, tax, labour, competition, etc.)

Candidates who obtain good results are called for a series of interviews with partners of the firm (the first interview involves the preparation of a case study). Successful candidates generally start their collaboration with us at the beginning of March or September.
