Carlos is based in the Madrid office of Uría
Menéndez. He joined the firm in 1989 and became a partner in 1998. He
was resident partner in the firm’s New York office between 1997 and
2000.
Carlos focuses his practice on M&A, banking and
finance. He has been involved in many of in the most significant finance
transactions in Spain.

Legal Teaching
He was a Commercial Law lecturer at the Universidad Pontificia de
Comillas (ICADE), and has lectured at the Centro de Estudios
Universitarios (CEU) and the Instituto de Empresa. He is a
