Esteban Arimany is a partner in the Barcelona office
of Uría Menéndez. He joined the firm as a partner in 2000 having been a
member of the Supreme Body of Public Prosecutors and worked in his own
law firm.
Before joining Uría Menéndez, Esteban worked for
many years for the State. He was a public prosecutor in the Supreme
Court of Justice of Catalonia, Public Prosecutor in charge of the
Special Delegation of the Inland Revenue in Catalonia and Secretary of
the Regional Administrative Tribunal of Catalonia.
Esteban has been leading counsel for listed companies and was the
managing partner of his own law firm, focusing his practice on
Administrative Law. At Uría Menéndez, he is frequently
asked to advise public and private sector companies on the financing and
operation of public infrastructures, as well as on administrative
contracts. He is also frequently involved in transactions related to the
distribution and commercial equipment sectors. |
Legal Teaching
From 1980 to 1982, Estaben Arimany was a lecturer of
Civil Law at the Universidad de Barcelona. During 1987, he lectured on Tax
Law at that university. From 1986 to 1990, Esteban gave courses and lectures
at the Centro Universitario Abad Oliva and the Ateneo Tributario de
Barcelona. From 2003 to 2004. Esteban Arimany lectured on public
administrative law at ESADE University and he was the coordinator of the
Administrative Law section of the Masters in Business Management offered by
the Universidad Internacional de Cataluña.
He is currently an Associate Lecturer in Administrative
Law at the Universidad de Barcelona.
