João Anacoreta Correia is a partner based in the
Porto office of Uría Menéndez. He joined the firm in 2004 when
Vasconcelos, F. Sá Carneiro, Fontes & Associados - one of the most
prestigious Portuguese law firms, founded in 1993 - integrated with Uría
Menéndez. On 1st January 2000 he joined Vasconcelos ,
F. Sá Carneiro, Fontes & Associados, as a partner, having been a
founding partner of the Porto office, which he heads up. From January
1993 to December 1999, he had his own law firm, also in Porto.
He is jointly responsible for both the Litigation and Commercial Law
Departments, as well as Mergers and Aquisitions, Securitisation of
Credits and Insurance. |
Legal Teaching. Seminars and
Conferences
From March 1993 to November 1999, he lectured legal
executives in the training course organised by the Society of Legal
Executives’ Regional Delegation for the North. He was responsible for
introduction to law, civil legal theory and company law courses.
He participates regularly as a speaker at seminars and
conferences on subjects related to his areas of practice, with particular
emphasis on telecommunications law, particularly those areas relating to
electronic communication and data transfer.
