Juan Antonio Loste is a lawyer in the Barcelona office of Uría Menéndez. He was named partner in January 2008.

His practice is focused on administrative and environmental law, providing advice in administrative and contentious-administrative proceedings as well as in civil and criminal proceedings involving environmental matters. Juan Antonio has also been involved in procedures related to environmental permits, authorisations and concessions before the relevant authorities, both in the incorporation of companies and businesses as well as in their expansion.

He has advised on the development of draft laws and conditions of tenders for environmental services and conducted analyses and audits on compliance with environmental regulations in procedures for the transfer of industrial assets or within the scope of the self-regulating preventative measures developed by the companies.
