Support Systems
URÍA MENÉNDEZ
supports its lawyers in their daily practice by providing them with
secretarial services, guidance from the Language Department on the use
of English, French and German legal terminology, assistance from the
Continuing Education, Training and Support Systems and the Marketing
Departments.
Research and Training
Throughout their career with us, our lawyers
participate in our in-house Continuing Education Programme organised
by our Research and Training Department and covering the legal
practice areas of our Firm as well as client care and standards of
service within the legal profession.
Legal Information Division
At URÍA MENÉNDEZ, the Legal Information Department
comprises a team of Legal Information specialists who manage an
extensive library comprising approximately 60.000 books as well as a
broad spectrum of legal journals and official publications.
Intranet also provides all lawyers with access to
our database of legal precedents as well as with the Firm's knowledge
management database.
Moreover, URÍA MENÉNDEZ has access to numerous
external databases of national and foreign case law and legislation,
both on-line and on CD-ROM.
Information Technology Division
The Information Technology Division ensures the
optimal functioning of our advanced and integrated computer and
telecommunications system and maintains secure links between all our
offices.
All systems are dealt with internally in order to
guarantee the strict confidentiality required by the nature of the
matters being handled and to satisfy our clients’ specific
requirements.
