Alberto Núñez-Lagos is a partner in the Madrid office
of Uría Menéndez. He joined the firm in 1987 and became a partner in
1998. Alberto’s practice covers a wide range of
corporate and banking work, although he has tended to specialize in
restructuring, thereby becoming engaged in insolvency proceedings
involving leading Spanish and international corporations.
Alberto is regarded as a Recommended Individual for Restructuring and
Insolvency in the 2003-2004 and 2005 editions of Global Counsel 3000.
His name also appears in the 2003 edition of Euromoney’s Guide to the
World’s Leading Insolvency and Restructuring Lawyers. |
Legal Teaching
Between 1990 and 1992, Alberto lectured on Commercial Law
at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas-ICADE in Madrid.
Between 1994 and 1996, Alberto lectured on Commercial Law
at the Universidad Abat Oliva in Barcelona.
