Guillermo San Pedro is a lawyer in the Madrid office of Uría Menéndez. He joined the firm in 1997 and was made partner in 2008. From September 2001 to March 2002, Guillermo participated in an exchange programme, temporarily joining the Capital Markets Department in the New York office of the U.S firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions of listed and non-listed companies, venture capital and securities transactions. He also has considerable experience in M&A transactions involving insurance companies, bancassurance joint ventures and the assignment of insurance portfolios between insurance companies.
Guillermo San Pedro frequently advises national and international insurance companies on their activities in the Spanish market.
