Irantzu Irastorza is the partner responsible for the firm’s corporate and commercial practice in Bilbao. She first joined the firm in 1999 and returned in 2019 after a ten-year stint as Deputy Director of the Legal Department and Chairperson’s Office at Kutxabank S.A. (and previously in BBK). She also worked at the US firm Debevoise & Plimpton (New York) as an associate lawyer in 2003.
She specialises in commercial, corporate and financial law, having participated in numerous business acquisitions, corporate restructuring and financing transactions. She also has extensive experience in the banking regulation.
