Academic tradition
José is a Chaired Professor of Commercial Law. He is a regular lecturer at various universities both in Spain and abroad and is a regular speaker and commentator at law seminars and conferences.
Cándido has been a chaired professor of commercial law at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid since 1992. From 1986 to 1988 he held that same position at the Universidad de Cantabria.
Since 2001, Fernando has been a chaired professor of civil law (Catedrático de Derecho Civil) at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra School of Law in Barcelona.
He has lectured at New York University School of Law, the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, the University of Wales, Hamburg Universität, the George Mason University School of Law and the Radzyner School of Law (IDC-Herzliya) in Israel.
Since 2017, Víctor has been a chaired professor in constitutional law at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. He has also lectured at the Escuela Judicial (Consejo General del Poder Judicial), New York University and the University of Texas (Austin).
He is chaired professor on civil law at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (2018). He is involved in graduate and post-graduate teaching at the School of Law and Social Sciences of the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. He participates or has participated in postgraduate programs and continuing education programs in various universities and educational institutions, such as the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, the Escuela Judicial of the Consejo General del Poder Judicial, the Universidad de Alicante, ESADE, the Universidad San Pablo CEU and the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha.
Chaired professor of civil law at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid from October 1986 until November 2015 and since October 2016 to the present.
Chaired professor of civil law at the Universidad de Cantabria and the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid from October 1986 to November 2015.
