José María Blanco Saralegui joined Uría Menéndez in 2020 as a counsel in arbitration and litigation area. He was a former civil and commercial judge for 20 years, and Head of the Technical Cabinet of the Civil Area of the Supreme Court of Spain from 2015 to 2020.
Apart from his experience in civil and commercial litigation, he has been professor at different Universities and Business Schools, collaborating in training junior and senior judges and lawyers all over Spain, and running speeches and scientific collaborations in these areas.
He has written more than fitty Works on his own and in collaboration, in civil, commercial and procedure law, and has participated in different projects concerning EU law.
