Our mission

Justice, solidarity, tolerance, human rights and democratic values

Education and training as instruments of social emancipation and personal development of individuals and groups

Using the law as a tool to foster harmony and protect vulnerable groups

Our projects

The Foundation's activity focuses on five priority areas of action - children, young people, immigrants, prisoners and the fight against poverty - through four lines of action:

Pro bono

We promote and coordinate free legal advice to non-profit organisations by the lawyers of Uría Menéndez.

Standard Terms of Engagement for pro bono advice

We design training programmes aimed at the most vulnerable groups in society, using knowledge of the law and other subjects to promote coexistence, integration, equal opportunities and non-discrimination.

Social action

Through the Social Action Committee, we implement volunteer and social action initiatives, both independently and in collaboration with other entities.

Art law

Through the Rodrigo Uría Meruéndano Art Law Award, the Professor Uría Foundation encourages innovative legal studies regarding the art world.
