Fernando Pantaleón, one of Spain’s leading civil law experts, joined Uría Menéndez as a senior consultant in 2018. He has combined his extensive practice in civil and commercial litigation and national and international arbitration with his role as chaired professor of civil law. He also served as a judge in the First Chamber of the Supreme Court (2015-2016) and he is a permanent member of the Civil Section of the National Codification Commission.
He has over 20 years’ experience in advising and defending the interests of a wide variety of companies, such as financial institutions, gas and electricity companies, holders of rights to exploit audiovisual rights and construction companies.
International legal directories list him among the leading lawyers for litigation and arbitration in Spain.
