Miguel Iribarren is Professor of Commercial Law and has been a consultant in the Madrid office of Uría Menéndez since January 2024.

He is a renowned expert in company law and corporate governance, a subject on which he has extensive experience in providing advice and opinions. The duties and responsibilities of directors, the status of shareholders, shareholders' agreements and family protocols, corporate conflicts and challenges to corporate resolutions, corporate reorganisations and M&A transactions are some of his most common areas of practice.

He also specialises in financial market law and insolvency and restructuring law.

He is the author of numerous well-known publications, including three monographs on corporate and securities law.
