Uría Menéndez has prepared an information note as a follow up to the round table discussion held on 31 May on the legal and business consequences of the UK’s referendum on whether to stay in the European Union. The note can be accessed at the following link.

Uría Menéndez and Wolters Kluwer organised the event, which brought together managers from the leading companies in Spain.

Luis de Carlos, Managing Partner of Uría Menéndez, and Rosalina Díaz Valcárcel, President of Wolters Kluwer Spain, introduced the working day. Following this introduction, a round table discussion was held with the following professionals: José Martín and Pérez de Nanclares, Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ International Legal Department; Christopher Dottie, President of the British Chamber of Commerce in Spain; Filippo De Falco, lawyer at Slaughter and May and Daniel Sarmiento, professor at the Universidad Complutense and lawyer at Uría Menéndez. Juan Carlos Machuca, lawyer and head of the London office of Uría Menéndez, was the moderator.
