Uría Menéndez, awarded by Chambers and IFLR

The Firm has been awarded as "Most Innovative Firm of the Year in Spain", "Best Client Service" and as advisor of the "Best Restructuring of the Year"

Uría Menéndez has received several important international awards in recent days for its work during the last year. Last Thursday, the firm was twice awarded at the IFLR European Awards held in London when it received the "Most Innovative Firm of the Year Award in Spain" and the "Best Restructuring of the Year" for its role advising in the restructuring of Abengoa. Also, on Friday, the British editorial Chambers & Partners granted the firm with the "Best Client Service" award in Spain at the Chambers Europe Awards ceremony held at the Intercontinental hotel in Madrid.

While this is the fourth time that the firm wins the IFLR award, after having won it in the 2008, 2009 and 2012 editions, this is the first time that Uría Menéndez receives the "Client Service” award from Chambers and Partners. The verdict of this last award is the result of the information gathered about the firms through the personal interviews carried out with the clients by a large team of analysts. Uría Menéndez was already awarded as "Best Firm of the Year" in Spain by this editorial in the first award ceremony in 2008 and, subsequently, in 2010, 2011 and 2016.
