Uría Menendez have signed on to the United Nations’ Global Compact, taking a further step in their commitment to the sustainable and responsible development of their work.

The Global Compact is an international initiative, which promotes the implementation of 10 universally accepted principles within the activities and strategies of businesses in order to promote sustainable development within the areas of human rights, working conditions, the environment and the combat against corruption.

In joining this agreement, Uría Menendez is supporting these 10 principles and expressing their intention to uphold and develop the principles within their sphere of influence. The firm has committed to make this Global Compact part of their strategy, culture and daily activity as well as to involve themselves in projects that contribute to the wider development goals of the United Nations, The Sustainable Development Goals in particular.
