On 25 November 2018, Royal Decree-Law 19/2018 of 23 November on payment services and other urgent financial measures entered into force. Apart from transposing a number of European directives, the ninth final provision of Royal Decree-Law 19/2018 amends the Spanish Securities Market Act to adapt it to, among others, Regulation (EU) 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 April 2014 on market abuse.
