Uría Menéndez, named firm of the year and best corporate law firm in Spain

The firm has received two awards in the virtual ceremony held for the IFLR Europe Awards 2021

Uría Menéndez has received two awards in the virtual ceremony held for the IFLR European Awards. The Firm has been named law firm of the year for Spain – the most important award at the national level – and best law firm for Corporate and M&A. This second category is one of the novelties of this year’s edition of the awards, which from now on will recognise the most outstanding law firm in a specific area or sector in certain countries.

This is the sixth time that Uría Menéndez has received the national award, after having won it in 2008, 2009, 2012, 2018 and 2019 (in 2013 Uría Menéndez - Proença de Carvalho received this award for the first time in Portugal).

The prestigious British publication International Financial Law Review carried out an exhaustive investigation over several months to reach its conclusions and name the most innovative law firms in Europe for matters with an international component.
