IFLR names Uría Menéndez law firm of the year for Spain

Last night in London, Uría Menéndez was named “Law Firm of the Year” for Spain at the IFLR Europe Awards ceremony. This is the second consecutive year, and the seventh time since the launch of these awards, that it has received this accolade.

Uría Menéndez was shortlisted along with six other law firms and won the award in recognition of its work in 2021. In addition, the firm was shortlisted in the “Equity Deal of the Year” category for its advice on EDP Renováveis’ share placement, while Uría Menéndez-Proença de Carvalho was shortlisted as “Law Firm of the Year” for Portugal.

The prestigious British publication carried out extensive research over several months to produce its rankings and name the most innovative law firms in Europe for cross-border transactions.
