Fernández Castilla, State Lawyer, joins Uría Menéndez to strengthen the Public Law, Litigation and Arbitration practice as an expert in energy matters.

Roberto Fernández Castilla, a state lawyer with experience in energy matters, joins Uría Menéndez’s Public Law, Litigation and Arbitration practice as counsel.

Fernández Castilla holds a law degree from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and has been a state lawyer since 2014. He has developed his professional career at the Ministry of Justice (in the field of international arbitration in the State Attorney General’s Office in relation to arbitrations brought against the Kingdom of Spain in the field of renewable energies) and at the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (acting as Chief State Lawyer for the Secretary of State for Energy).
