UM advises Siemens Gamesa on the divestment of its wind power business in India and Sri Lanka

This deal, which involves the sale of assets to a group of investors led by TPG, allows Siemens Gamesa to retain a strategic 10% stake in the transferred business.

The business in question includes the manufacture, installation and servicing of onshore wind turbines.

The deal was handled by a multidisciplinary team at UM, made up of experienced lawyers in the various areas of law involved: Tomás José Acosta Álvarez, Tomás Arranz Fernández-Bravo, Carlos Montoro Esteve, Jokin Beltrán de Lubiano, Marta Giner Vincueria, Ana Hidalgo Benito and César Farrapeira Lafuente.
