Uría Menéndez advises Crédit Agricole CIB on the financing of the acquisition of Livensa Living

Uría Menéndez has advised Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank, the bookrunner, on the financing of c. €700 million relating to the acquisition of the Livensa Living group by Nido Living, a leading student accommodation platform backed by the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board.

This significant transaction, one of the largest in the Iberian real-estate sector, strengthens Nido Living’s position as a leading integrated operator in Europe.

The Uría Menéndez team was led by finance partner Luis Jiménez and involved more than 30 lawyers from various practice areas at the firm’s offices in Spain and Portugal. UM worked as an integrated team with Slaughter and May, led by partner David Hay. Elvinger Hoss Prussen provided advice on Luxembourg law.

The team included María Pan de Soraluce Goyeneche, José María Beneyto Brunet, Alberto Fernández Seoane, Rafael Castillo Echevarría, Miguel Herraiz Sanchis and José António Reymão Nogueira.
