Every September we host a new edition of the Welcome Programme at our Madrid office, designed for our incoming new lawyers. This year we brought together 82 young professionals from our offices in Barcelona, Bilbao, Lisbon, Madrid, and Valencia, who are now beginning their careers at Uría Menéndez.

Over the course of three days, the Welcome Programme provides them with the opportunity to learn about essential aspects of the firm: its organisation and operations, as well as our values, culture, and work ethos. Above all, it offers them – and us – a chance to meet and interact with one another, as they embark on this exciting new stage of their professional career.

At UM, this is one of the most important weeks of the year. As a talent-nurturing law firm, our future lies with those who join us today.
