Uría Menéndez advises Ardian on its full acquisition of the Fermax Group

UM has advised Ardian Expansion Fund VI on its acquisition of 100% of FERMAX Global, a leading provider of video intercoms, access control systems and smart home solutions. The transaction was conducted on a bilateral basis and was not subject to an auction.

The deal includes Fermax’s subsidiaries in seven countries and its commercial network in over seventy countries. It strengthens Ardian’s commitment to the technology sector and establishes a global growth strategy based on innovation and international expansion.

UM advised Ardian at every stage of the legal process, including structuring, financing, merger control, tax, sanctions and due diligence.

The core UM team involved in this transaction comprised: Manuel Echenique Sanjurjo, Ignacio Álvarez Couso, Felipe Carbonell García, Paula Lissorgues Egea, Justyna Wisniewska, Paula de Lucio Reliegos, Ghizlane Laaouej and Sara Dolera.
