Uría Menéndez has been named Spain Copyright & Design Firm of the Year, presented by the UK publication Managing Intellectual Property as part of the annual Managing IP Awards 2026.

The award ceremony took place in London, at an event that brought together a wide range of lawyers specialising in intellectual and industrial property from around the world. Carles Vendrell and Francisco Javier García attended the event on behalf of the firm.

Managing IP, which is part of the Legal Benchmarking Limited publishing group, is the leading news and analysis service for intellectual property professionals worldwide, with a focus on the legal sector. The publication provides insight into the strategies of intellectual property firms, including how they respond to industry developments, such as developments in case law and legislative changes, the advice they provide to clients, and how they manage their practices, covering aspects such as recruitment policies and operational structures.
