Uría & Menéndez: Law Firm of the Year in Spain
According to Chambers Global 2002-2003, the international guide for world’s leading lawyers published by Chambers & Partners, Uría & Menéndez has been elected Law Firm of the Year in Spain for the second consecutive year . This independent research-based ranking reflects the opinions and recommendations of lawyers and clients gathered throughout the year 2001.

At the same time, Chambers conducted a survey on the 'Best Business Lawyer' in each country. In Spain, Uría & Menéndez’ partner Luis de Carlos was elected Best Business Lawyer for 2001. Quoting Chambers:
