Uría Menéndez among the world’s top ten firms advising on M&A
Bloomberg ranks the firm sixth in the world and fifth in Europe in its 2007 rankings of firms advising on M&A.
January 10, 2008Uría Menéndez is ranked among the ten most active law firms in the world advising on M&A transactions according to Bloomberg’s prestigious financial analysts.
In the worldwide tables, the firm is ranked sixth in cross-border deals, seventh in deals relating to the financial industry and eighth as main advisers in globally-announced transactions.
Uría Menéndez was also one of the most active firms advising on M&A in Europe in 2007, being ranked fifth in Europe for announced M&A transactions. Bloomberg ranks Uría Menéndez first in the Iberian market.
Uría Menéndez is the only independent law firm in the Iberian Peninsula that appears in Bloomberg’s European and worldwide tables as the most active firm advising on large cross-border M&A deals.
