The firm has been included in the MAKE 2008 (Most Admired Knowledge Enterprises).

July 16, 2008

The knowledge management system of Uría Menéndez has been selected as one of the top 50 companies for knowledge management in Europe. Uría Menéndez was the only law firm nominated. The firm, which also received the distinction in 2003, has again been recognised alongside 49 prestigious companies to be included in the 2008 European MAKE (Most Admired Knowledge Enterprises) study. The finalists will be announced in August.

The international competition analyses European companies that create, share and use knowledge effectively in their work. The study recognises the efforts of firms that believe that the transformation of knowledge into ideas, products and solutions of great creativity increases their competitiveness.

The study was carried out by Teleos, an independent knowledge management and intellectual capital research company and KNOW Network, a web-based global community of organisations dedicated to networking, benchmarking and sharing best knowledge practices leading to superior organisational performance.

The results are determined through questionnaires sent to senior executives and internationally renowned knowledge management and intellectual capital experts from the Fortune Global 500.
