Uría Menéndez, IP Firm of the Year: Spain - Contentious

The British legal periodical Managing Intellectual Property held its Global Awards 2011 ceremony

Uría Menéndez was recognised by the British legal periodical Managing Intellectual Property as the Spanish Firm of the Year under the category “Intellectual Property – Contentious” at its annual Global Awards ceremony.

The ceremony was held last night in London and brought together a diverse group of intellectual property lawyers from across the world. José Massaguer, Ingrid Pi, Montiano Monteagudo and Agustín González lead Uría Menéndez’s IP group. In a joint statement, José Massaguer and Ingrid Pi stated: “Uría Menéndez and all the lawyers from the IP group are very proud to have received this award, which recognises our experience and the hard work employed in these matters in order to help our clients defend their rights and protect their interests”.

Managing Intellectual Property, which forms part of the Euromoney publishing group, is a leading reference in the IP sector and covers all areas of IP law and practice. Every year the periodical carries out a comprehensive analysis in order to create IP rankings, on which basis they decide their annual Global Awards.
