Uría Menéndez receives in France the award for Best Law Firm in Spain in 2011
The firm receives this award for the fourth time
June 27, 2011Uría Menéndez received the “Best Law Firm in Spain” award in the 2011 edition of the International Legal Alliance Summit & Awards.
The award ceremony was held yesterday at the Intercontinental Paris Le Grand hotel and the event brought together a wide range of global law firms. David García-Ochoa, partner at Uría Menéndez, received the award and said that "to be recognised in France for the fourth time is an honour for Uría Menéndez as it shows the long-term confidence that our clients have in us and in our independent business model in a year that has again been difficult from an economic perspective".
The International Legal Alliance Awards reward the best independent law firms of the year. They recognize distinguished law firms in their domestic market for their excellent results in the year and lasting performance in management and leadership.
The jury panel was composed of over 100 members, which included in-house counsels and executives of companies such as Disney, Philips, L'Oréal, Telecom Italia and Nestlé.
