Uría Menéndez, Iberian Law Firm of the Year in M&A

The firm receives this award for a second year running.

Last night, Uría Menéndez received the award for Iberian Law Firm of the Year for Mergers and Acquisitions at the Financial Times and Mergermarket European M&A Awards 2012. It is the second consecutive year that the firm has received this award.

This award recognises the best financial advisors, law firms, consultants, public relations firms and private equity firms on mergers and acquisitions in all of Europe. Nominations are reviewed by a panel of editors from the Financial Times and Mergermarket, as well as M&A experts, who analyse the trajectory of each firm over the last 12 months, in addition to the innovative structures of the transactions in which they have been involved in and the creativity in their approaches.

 

Receiving this award for a second year running consolidates Uría Menéndez’s leading position in M&A in the Iberian Peninsula. It also recognises the excellent work of the thirty or so partners and one hundred lawyers who make up the M&A Practice Group, which has advised on some of the most complex transactions that have taken place both in Spain and Portugal over the last 12 months.
