Uría Menéndez - Ninth firm in the world for M&A deals with a chinese element according to Bloomberg

Uría Menéndez ranked in 2013 as the ninth firm in the world for China announced M&A deals in terms of volumes, according to the information service provider Bloomberg (Bloomberg, Legal Advisors, M&A League Tables). During this period, the firm advised deals with a value of USD 7,392 million, capturing a 3% share of the total market.

This table league reflects the involvement of a law firm in M&A deals announced by Chinese enterprises, including mergers, acquisitions, divestures, self-tenders and spinoffs.

Uría Menéndez is the only Iberian law firm included in Bloomberg’s table league and acknowledges the firm’s involvement in the most relevant Chinese outbound investments into Spain, Portugal and Latin America during the past year.
