Javier Alberite joined Uría Menéndez in 2018 and he is managing associate of the firm since 2026.
His practice mainly focuses on civil and commercial law and litigation in a variety of sectors.
He has over seven years of experience in advising domestic and foreign companies in out-of-court negotiations and judicial proceedings related to civil and commercial matters.
He advises mainly in Contractual Law, Damages Law, and Real Estate Law. Javier is also specialized in company disputes, financial litigation, and has experience in bankruptcy, preliminary and enforcement proceedings.

Teaching activity
Javier Alberite has been an associate lecturer at Comillas Pontifical University in Madrid since 2021, where he coordinates and teaches various undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the Faculty of Law (ICADE) and the Higher Technical School of Engineering (ICAI). In addition, between 2021 and 2025, he taught at the Higher Institute of Law and Economics (ISDE). He also regularly participates as a speaker at seminars and conferences.
