Uría Menéndez receives award for its role as legal adviser in the European Transport Deal of the year at the IJGlobal Awards 2017
The firm received this award for its legal advice on the sale of Empark to MIRA (Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets)
March 9, 2018The publication IJGlobal, which specialises in infrastructure investment and project finance, has named the sale of Empark to MIRA, on which Uría Menéndez advised the seller, as European Transport Deal of the Year 2017.
The team responsible for this transaction was led by Ignacio Klingenberg (partner, Corporate and M&A), who was supported by Guillermo Canalejo Lasarte (partner, Tax), Cristina Garcia (senior associate, Corporate and M&A), Ignacio Zarzalejos (senior associate, Finance) and Jaime Álvarez (junior associate, Corporate and M&A).
The ceremony took place last Wednesday, 7 March, at the Natural History Museum in London and was attended by numerous representatives from the energy and infrastructure sector. The firm was represented at the event by Ignacio Klingenberg and Javier Ruiz-Cámara.
