Uría Menéndez advises Software AG on the sale of its enterprise technology platform business

Uría Menéndez has advised Software AG on the sale of several technology platforms to IBM. This was a complex carve-out that needed to be implemented simultaneously at closing, and involved over 50 jurisdictions. The Spanish subsidiary of Software AG played a key role in some of those jurisdictions, as parent company of the businesses in several Latin American countries as well as in the Iberian Peninsula.
