Uría Menéndez has advised Molins Cementos Molins, S.A. on its acquisition of 100% of Secil, Companhia Geral de Cal e Cimento, S.A. from Semapa. Secil is one of the largest cement companies in Portugal, with over 2,900 employees and a turnover of €740 million in the past 12 months.

This Iberian transaction involved the joint efforts of lawyers from the Lisbon and Madrid offices, under the direction of the Portuguese team. This reflects the firm’s ability to handle complex cross-border transactions in an integrated manner.
