Uría Menéndez, best M&A Iberian law firm
The Financial Times and Mergermarket European M&A awards ceremony took place in London yesterday.
December 9, 2011Uría Menéndez was last night awarded the prize for the best M&A law firm in the Iberian Peninsula at the fifth edition of the Financial Times and Mergermarket European M&A Awards.
The award recognises Uría Menéndez’s leading position in M&A transactions in 2011. With more than thirty partners and one hundred lawyers, the Corporate - M&A team has participated in many of the most complex transactions that have taken place in Spain and Portugal over the last twelve months, playing a particularly important role in the restructuring of the Spanish financial sector.
Rafael Sebastian, head of the Corporate - M&A team, collected the award and said: “This award recognises, despite the current uncertainties in the markets, and thanks to the confidence of our clients, our work in many of the most significant mergers and acquisitions in the Iberian market”.
