Borja de la Macorra Pérez joined Uría Menéndez in 2017 and was appointed managing associate of the firm in January 2025.
Borja has years of experience advising domestic and foreign companies on employment matters such as employment contracts, including senior executive contracts, incentive plans, codes of conduct, internal company policies, dismissals, internal investigations, etc.
An important part of his professional practice is focused on the defense of companies in judicial proceedings in relation to various labour matters (both in instance and in appeal phase), as well as in out-of-court negotiations.
In addition, he has participated in the adoption of various internal and external flexibility measures and in collective procedures (such as ERTEs, collective dismissals, collective bargaining agreements, etc.). Finally, he has extensive experience in relation to labour issues arising in company acquisitions, mergers and restructuring transactions.
