Independent Whistleblower Protection Authority will launch on 1 September 2025

On 12 August 2025, Ministerial Order PJC/908/2025 of 8 August 2025 was published in the Official State Gazette, establishing 1 September 2025 as the date on which the Independent Whistleblower Protection Authority will start operating. From that date, a two-month period will begin during which entities must notify the Authority of the appointment and removal of persons responsible for their internal information systems.
