Profile

Juan Antonio Pérez Rivarés began his professional career at Uría Menéndez, where he has built up 26 years of experience (16 of those as a partner of the firm) in advising sellers and purchasers on complex real estate transactions.

His practice mainly focuses on the Madrid market (luxury residences) and the Barcelona market (technology sector).

He usually advises on the acquisition and development of prominent buildings and developments (with a particular focus on logistics, build-to-rent and senior living) and large real estate portfolios spread throughout the regions of Spain.

In addition to his asset and share transactional practice (including forward purchase, forward funding and sale and lease back transactions), Juan Antonio possesses significant expertise in M&A and joint ventures with an underlying real estate component, leases, construction and real estate financing.

He acts for national and international real estate developers and investors, including family offices, corporates and funds based in Spain, Mexico, the UK and the US.
