André Pestana Nascimento is a partner of Uría Menéndez, which he joined in 2003, and heads the firm’s Labour Practice Area since 2018.
André focuses his professional practice in all matters related to employment law, employment litigation, collective bargaining, data protection, pensions and social security law.
He has extensive experience in employment restructuring procedures (v.g. collective dismissals and other downsizing procedures), transactions aimed at the acquisition of undertakings or businesses (transfers as a going concern, mergers, and spin-offs, etc.), as well as in the negotiation and drafting of all kinds of employment agreements.
Furthermore, André advises clients of different sectors in their day-to-day activities and represents them before Employment Courts, as well as before the Labour Authorities and Social Security.
