Diego Pérez joined Uría Menéndez in 2017.
He specializes in Maritime, Ports and Transport Law and provides regular advisory services to shipowners, port terminals, collaborative and urban mobility platforms, transportation companies, logistics enterprises, and other operators with an international presence, including their financiers, on a broad spectrum of commercial, regulatory and financial matters.
He advises on all types of vessel construction, repair and acquisition contracts, and company sale and restructuring transactions in the transport sector.
In 2023, Diego was awarded the “ICAM Sections Awards” in the modality "Maritime and Transport" granted by the Madrid Bar Association for his studies in connection with the carrier’s liability in the land transport of goods.
In 2022, 2023 and 2024 he was named a rising star by The Legal 500 in the shipping category.
