David García-Ochoa Mayor is a lawyer in the Madrid office of Uría Menéndez. He joined the firm in 1991 and was based in the firm’s Barcelona office between 1997 and 1999, and in New York from 1999 to 2000. He currently heads up the Bureau Francophone in our Madrid office.
His practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, mergers & acquisitions, banking and finance and securitisation.
David is regarded as a Leading Lawyer by the main international legal directories such as Best Lawyers in Spain, Chambers & Partners, PLC Which Lawyer? Yearbook and IFLR 1000. He has also been commended for his work on several deals highlighted in the Financial Times Innovative Lawyers Report 2016, 2017 and 2018 for Innovation in M&A.
