Javier Valle is a partner in Uría Menéndez and a consultant in Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría. Until April 2015 he headed the Corporate and Commercial Practice in the Barcelona office of Uría Menéndez and prior to that was head of the São Paulo office (2003-2007). Javier focuses his practice on M&A, energy, banking, financing and project finance.
Javier has extensive experience advising lenders and acquirers on the sale and purchase of industrial and service companies, on the development, acquisition and sale of projects, in capital markets transactions, and in structured, project, corporate and acquisition finance matters.
He has regularly been named as a specialist by the most prestigious legal directories, including Chambers, PLC Which Lawyer? Yearbook, Best Lawyer, The International Who's Who of Lawyers and Global Counsel.
Javier advised developers in four project finance transactions that were awarded European Renewable Energy Deal of the Year 2002, Latin American Renewable Energy Deal of the Year in 2005 and 2006, and European Shadow Toll Road Deal of the Year 2010.
