Rafael Núñez-Lagos is based in the Madrid office of Uría Menéndez. He joined the firm in 2001.
His practice focuses on corporate law and corporate governance and extends to other areas of business practice and private law in general, including banking, finance, capital markets and mergers and acquisitions.
Rafael has taken part in numerous M&A and restructuring transactions involving financial and industrial companies, both public and private; he has advised credit entities, investment firms and insurance companies on corporate and regulatory matters; and he has advised on the finance, acquisition and construction aspects of real estate transactions.
He was one of the recipients of Iberian Lawyer’s 40 Under Forty awards in the 2015 edition. These awards recognise the achievements of the top 40 lawyers under 40 years of age in Spain and Portugal based on their involvement in important and complex matters, their leadership and team management skills, and their social contributions.
