Catarina Fernandes joined Uría Menéndez in 2014 from another Portuguese law firm and she became a managing associate in 2022. In 2019, she was seconded to the tax team in Uría Menéndez’s Madrid office.
Catarina focuses her practice on tax law and, in particular, on contentious tax matters (audits, administrative proceedings before the Portuguese tax authorities and judicial or arbitral proceedings before the courts), real estate transactions and corporate restructurings in the real estate and hotel industries.
