Cristina Puerta Ruiz de Azúa joined Uría Menéndez in 2017 as managing associate and has been principal associate since 2021.
She has over eight years of experience advising domestic and foreign entities and investment funds in tax aspects derived from M&A transactions, co-investment structures, corporate restructuring transactions, real estate transactions and debt portfolios transactions..
Specialized in tax law, she frequently advises on international tax operations and corporate restructuring, as well as on the implementation of foreign investments in Spain, both under common and regional regulations in the historic territories of the Basque Country and Navarra.
Likewise, she regularly intervenes in tax proceedings, including tax audits and tax litigation procedures.
